SAPTARI: A person, who was critically injured after falling off a mango tree at Kanchanrup Municipality in Saptari district on Thursday evening died during the course of treatment at the Dharan-based BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences on Friday morning.

Police identified the deceased as Lakhan Yadav (35) of Kanchanrup Municipality-7

The incident took place when Yadav had climbed the tree behind his house to collect mangoes.
