Man donates land for health post

A septuagenarian in Siraha has donated land worth millions of rupees for construction of a health post building.

Seventy-one-year-old PremBahadurSyangwa of Musaharniya, Gol Bazaar Municipality, passed eight kattha and two dhur land worth around Rs 2.4 million to the local health post for construction of a health post building  in memory of his wife who had died two years ago.

“My wife died for want of treatment as there was no health post in the village, and I don’t want other people to die like that,” said Syangwa.

Ward No 3 Chairperson of Gol Bazaar Municipality Dhana Prasad Tamang thanked Syangwa for donating the valuable land for the benefit of the public. “As people here are suffering for want of a health post, we decided to ask him to donate land and he obliged,” said Tamang, adding that construction of the health post building would start soon.
