KHOTANG: A worker was found dead at Banjhechyandanda VDC in Khotang on Tuesday. The deceased has been identified as Gopal Tamang, 58, of Bhojpur Municipality.

He was a daily wage labourer at Drinking Water Project operated in the VDC by Bristish Gorkha Welfare.

Police said Tamang had come out of his rented room to answer nature’s call at around 3:00am. Police suspect that the man might have died after he fell off a cliff.

Investigation into the case is under way, said police.
