BANKE: A migrant worker returning home from India was held in possession of an air pistol from Nepal-India border point in Jamunaha in Banke district, on Saturday, police said.

A police team deployed from Jamunaha Area Police Office apprehended 29-year-old Lal Singh Rana of Jahare in Surkhet Bheriganga Municipality-9 with a pistol hidden inside his bag.

Police also seized one silencer and a packet of bullet particles.

According to Police, Rana was returning home from New Delhi of India.

Meanwhile, police said further investigation is underway.
