BHOJPUR: Police arrested a man in possession of a loaded gun in Ikharbu VDC of Taplejung district on Tuesday.

The team deployed from the Taplejung District Police Office arrested the 35-year-old Kumar Limbu of Pathari, Morang from a cave of a local jungle, Eastern Regional Police Office, Biratnagar, informed.

They also seized a khukuri from Limbu.

Acting on a tip-off, the police had launched a search operation to nab absconding suspects accused of various crimes.

Limbu was nabbed while the police and the suspects engaged in a gun fire.
