BHOJPUR: A man was severely injured after falling off a moving bus in at Tamkhuwa-9 of Dhankuta district along the Hile-Sijuwa road section on Wednesday.

According to Eastern Regional Police Office (ERPO), Biratnagar, Kul Bahadur Katuwal (45) of Tamkhuwa-8, who was standing on the door of bus (Ko 1 Kha 2930) en route to Dharan from Chulachuli, had fallen off abruptly.

Police further said, critically injured Katuwal is receiving treatment at Dharan-based BP Koirala Institutes of Health Sciences.

The driver was under the custody of Area Police Office, Sidhuwa for further investigation, informed ERPO.
