HETAUNDA: A man died after a tractor ran over him as he jumped off the moving vehicle at Phaparbari of Makawanpur district on Tuesday.

The tractor bore a license plate that indicated it was on test, according to the Makawanpur District Police Office.

The deceased is Narayan Thing (36), a local resident.

The tractor was laden with sand extracted from Sauraha rivulet.

Driver is on the run after the incident while the

tractor has been impounded by Jhurjhure Police Office.
