DANG: A man died and his wife sustained critical injuries after a bus hit a motorbike they were riding on in Dang on Saturday.

The deceased has been identified as Dev Bahadur Dangi (54) of Tulsipur-19.

Critically injured in the incident, Dev Bahadur breathed his last during the course of treatment at the Rapti Zonal Hospital this morning, according to the Area Police Office, Tulsipur.

The bus (Ra 1 Kha 784) heading towards Tulsipur from Shitalpur hit the bike (Ra 1 Pa 7814) yesterday night.

Dev Bahadur was a science teacher at the Amar Higher Secondary School.

Police said that Dev Bahadur’s wife Pushpa, who was seriously injured in the incident, is being treated at the Teaching Hospital at Kohalpur.

Police said that they have impounded the bus and arrested its driver for investigation.
