ever mango produced in Nepal.

“Twelve of the 20 mangoes dropped off the tree after getting overripe. While others weigh from 700 to 950 grams, this one weighs 1,155 grams,” Malla said.

Word of the wonder has spread like wildfire and even travellers along the Prithvi Highway, after hearing of it, are breaking journey to have a look at the mega mango, he added.

“I have preserved it for those interested in seeing it,” Malla said.
