BHOJPUR: A  man was found drowned in a canal located at Ithari Municipality-11 on Wednesday morning.

The deceased has been identified as Laturam Chaudhary (55) of Dnggraha of Morang district.

According to Eastern Regional Police Office, Biratnagar, pedestrian had informed them after seeing the body floating in the canal.

Police further said they had sent the body to Dharan-based BP koirala Institute of Health Sciences for autopsy.
