NUWAKOT: Maoist area committee member Badri Pathak was arrested while he was looting paddy from the house of Nepali Congress activist Harischandra Tamang on Thursday at Chaughada VDC-8, Nuwakot, DSP Dhirpratap Singh said. Police also arrested four Maoist cadres, while villagers bar them from entering their home. We tried to seize the paddy from Tamang’s home as per the direction of our party, Pathak was reported as saying. Earlier, the YCL had blacklisted Tamang and warned him to leave home 45 days ago.
