Maoist camps removed
BIRATNAGAR: Following the success of the peace talks, Maoists have started removing more than 30 camps set up at different places in the eastern region from Thursday. The process of setting up one central camp has been started, said secretary of the Maoists’ eastern division, Pushkar. Maoist cadres, who have been putting up at destroyed police posts, have started leaving them, said the DIG at the eastern regional police office, Keshav Baral. The collection of tax and donation will be stopped, said Maoist in-charge (Morang), Sagar, adding, however, that they will accept donations.
