Maoist Centre obstructs Janakpur traffic movement

DHANUSHA: Cadres of the CPN Maoist Centre on Sunday obstructed the vehicular movement at Pidarichok of Janakpur since early morning.

With the obstruction, vehicles and passengers have been left stranded halfway.

The vehicular movement was obstructed demanding release of Nepali Congress, CPN Maoist Centre and Federal Socialist Forum-Nepal cadres who were arrested by police on Saturday.

The cadres were reportedly arrested on the charge of attacking Nepali Congress leader Ram Baran Paswan on Saturday in a minor dispute on the formation of the management committee of the Janata Secondary School in Janakpur Municipality-14, it is learned.
