DAMAK: Maoists on Wednesday kidnapped two teachers from a school in Jhapa district. According to the victim’s family, the Maoists took away teacher Ganga Kharel and headmaster Lakh Dhoj Kandangwa from the classroom towards an undisclosed location at around 11 am. Meanwhile, rights activists here have requested the Maoists to immediately release them. — HNS
