Maoists donot keep words
TANAHUN: Vice President of Nepali Congress Ram Chandra Paudel today said there was a vast difference between what the Maoists said and what they did.
Stating that the former rebels had been attempting to divide the country by declaring autonomous republican states, Paudel said, ''I urge all not to trust the Maoists.'' Inaugurating ambulance service at Tharpu Health Post, he added, ''The Maoists are conspiring to create disharmony among ethnic communities through their carve-out bid." Paudel was of the opinion that the statue should be drafted only after taking the peace process to a logical conclusion. He did not fail to claim that only the NC could lead the country, since it was the only democratic party.
Addressing a party meet in Byas Municipality-10, Paudel said the country could have a misfortune if the Maoists did not prioritise the peace and constitution drafting processes.
