KATHMANDU: UCPN-Maoist leader CP Gajurel today said his party was preparing to form a front of nationalist forces to save nationalism.

“Our politburo and central committee meetings will make public the details about the modality of the front and work-plans,” he said. “Various political parties and other nationalist forces will be incorporated in the front,” he added.

Addressing a function, Gajurel said issues of nationalism, civilian supremacy and toppling the present coalition would top the agenda for the front. He added the Maoists were waiting for the government’s reaction on the statement made by Indian Army Chief on integration of Maoist combatants.
