NUWAKOT:

Maoists on Tuesday freed three civilians from Kahule VDC in Nuwakot whom they had seized two weeks ago.

The freed persons are Jagat Bahadur Tamang, Phaisi Tamang and Tek Bahadur Tamang of Phikuri VDC, Bidur’s Maoist municipal committee in-charge, Bigyan, said on Wednesday. One Rajesh Adhikari, who was taken captive along with the three, is yet to be released, Bigyan said. The Maoists had abducted them on charges of being involved in different cases.
