Maoists lose 20 cadres in 3 days

Security forces said the death toll on the Maoists’ side in the operation that began on Thursday at Jhinga of Ganeshpur VDC has reached 20. Twelve Maoists were killed on Thursday, while five more were killed yesterday and three more today, stated the Royal Nepalese Army’s west pritana headquarters in Pokhara.

Ramjan Musalman, Maoists’ secretary of Ganeshpur Village Development Committee Ram Das, Dukhi Chamar, Binayatulla Musalman and Ramjan Musalman were killed on Thursday. Meanwhile, Bishnu Panthi, coordinator of Maoists-aligned Nepal Trade Union, Kapilbastu, and his two bodyguards, Yam Bahadur Dalamagar and Jhilkan Yadav, were killed on Saturday, the security source added.
