Maoists no harm to govt: Gachhadar
KAPILVASTU: Deputy Prime Minister Bijaya Kumar Gachhadar today challenged Unified CPN-Maoist to topple the government through a no-confidence motion in parliament.
The DPM said so while addressing a meeting of his party cadres in Taulihawa. Indicating the slated agitation of the Maoists, who have been protesting the President's move, Gachhadar said, "Let's not engage in dispute any more. Such agitation won't do anything as claimed by the Maoists. I would rather challenge them to topple the government and the President by registering a no-confidence motion in the parliament," he said. He also claimed that the Maoists would never be successful in their aim as the present government enjoyed the support of 22 parties. DPM Gachhadar, who is also the chairman of Madhesi Janadhikar Forum-Democratic, said, "The Maoists are not serious in drafting the constitution as they are raising irrelevant issues lately." "The Maoists should be flexible if they want solution to the problems," the DPM added.
