Maoists should stop House disruption: Nembang

POKHARA: Chairman of the Constituent Assembly (CA) Subas Nembang on Tuesday said the government was obstructing the House business while it should be solving the present political deadlock.

Inaugurating a function of Tamu Dhi Nepal in Pokhara, Nembang said, "The Unified CPN-Maoist should immediately stop the House obstruction." He was of the opinion that the differences among political parties should be sorted out through discussion.

Stating that the main duty of the government was to draft the constitution, Nembang said only a harmonious relation among parties could yield a good constitution. He said the parties should end rivalries among them at the earliest.

Refuting the Maoist charge of increased foreign influence in the country, the CA chair said a neighbouring country has the responsibility of calming down the neighbour's quarrel. He said the new government would be formed by the parliament.

Constituted 25 years ago, Tamu Dhin Nepal has been working for the rights of Gurungs, their religion, culture and costume, among others.
