Maoists urged to shun violence

Kathmandu, November 27:

Chairman of Rastriya Janarajya Parishad Manik Raj Bajracharya has appealed to the Maoists to shun the path of terrorism and dedicate themselves to the wellbeing of the people and nation. At a press conference held here today, Bajracharya said that the activities of seven political parties such as carrying out street agitation, and sabotaging public property could never be in the interest of the Nepali people. Vice-chairman of the Parishad Sharad Chandra Dahal said that it was unfortunate on the part of seven parties to make an alliance with the Maoists in behest of the foreigners.
