Matrika faction takes umbrage at Prachanda’s belligerent move

KAPILVASTU: Communist Party of Nepal-Maoist, led by Matrika Yadav, today protested the conduct of Unified CPN-Maoist chairperson Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’.

Speaking at a programme organised by the party’s Kapilvastu

committee, CPN-M central member Ramananda Barma accused rival party chairperson Prachanda of inviting dictatorship and instability in the country and suppressing the Madhesi community.

Barma said the ongoing agitation of the UCPN-M was against the sentiment of people and served some vested interest.

“UCPN-M is trying in vain to deceive people in the name of civilian supremacy,” he said.

Madhes Rajya Samiti in-charge Mahesh Sharma, Youth Security Committee in-charge Rajesh Chaudhari, CA member Jagat Yadav,

military department chief Pradip Sharma and CPN-M-affiliated All Nepal Natioal Independent Students’ Union chairman Bikrant Yadav addressed the programme.

They said they were forced to

quit the UCPN-M due to the arrogance of Prachanda.
