Matrika for alliance among armed outfits

BIRATNAGAR: Coordinator of CPN-Maoist Matrika Yadav today held Prachanda responsible to disqualify some PLA fighters.

"They were qualified when Prachanda was spearheading the war. But how come they are disqualified now?'' he questioned. He was speaking at a press meet organised in Biratnagar.

He also blamed the government for carrying out offensive against his party. "However, we'll move ahead as per the government's behaviour.'' He also warned of retaliation if the government tried to suppress their activities.

Referring the UCPN-Maoist's unilateral decision of declaring the autonomous states, Yadav said, "It's only an attempt to deceive people.''

Yadav also said the significance of the Upendra Yadav's Madhesi Janadhikar Forum was already finished. "He sees the Madhes issues only when he is out of the government and forgets them when he is a part of it."

He also revealed that his party was holding talks for cooperation with other armed outfits fighting for the welfare of the Madhesis. "We're also holding talks with Kirant Workers' Party in this regard.''

According to Yadav, he was interested to form an alliance among the groups having revolutionary ideology.
