DAMAK: The Kirant Janabadi Workers' Party (KJWP) on Tuesday called the Mechi bandh demanding the release of its cadres—Om Mishra and district commander Gopal Thapa— arrested for their alleged involvement in opening gunfire at industrialist Dinesh Mittal on January 27. The police have already filed a case against Mishra and Thapa under the arms and ammunition act.
