POKHARA: A woman died on the spot after a microbus hit a scooter she was riding on in Amar Singh Chowk of Pokhara on Sunday.

The deceased has been identified as Jamuna Aryal (23) of Maswar, Pokhara-7.

According to the District Police Office, Kaski, the incident occurred when the scooter (Ga 10 Pa 744) heading towards Pokhara from Amar Singh Chowk was hit by the microbus (Na 5 Kha 340) from behind this afternoon.

Police said that they are looking into the case.
