DAMAULI: Minister for Science and Technology Shivlal Thapa on Friday said the government would produce scientists and inventors within the country. Speaking at an interaction programme organised by Reporters’ Club in Damauli of Tanahun, Minister Thapa said, “The government will help talented youths to become scientists and inventors.” Stating that brain drain had caused a massive loss to the country, Thapa said the current government would do possible to bring back youth working in foreign countries. On the 11-point demand put forth by the agitating United Democratic Madheshi Front, he said the government would address their demands without compromising on sovereignty and national integrity. He expressed confidence that the protracted Tarai crisis and blockade at border points would end soon.
