Biratnagar, May 15:
Government spokesperson and Minister of Information and Communications, Tanka Dhakal, today hinted at a cabinet reshuffle soon.
Dhakal, while talking to newsmen in Biratnagar, said that the cabinet would be reshuffled if need be.
Incidentally, at a programme organised in the capital yesterday, former prime minister Surya Bahadur Thapa, had said that changes are imminent in the country within a few days.
Dhakal said: “Changes do come in keeping with the country’s requirements. The dev-
elopment should not come as a surprise.”
He, however, refused to elaborate, adding that the current council of ministers has been formed by the King.
“The King will do what is best for the country.
The King deserves that right. I do not wish to speak in detail about the reshuffle,” he added.
While talking on the King’s right to appoint and dismiss the government, Minister Dhakal, said the King would take the decision of taking the country forward without disturbance.
