Ministers say seven parties promoting terrorism
Nuwakot, March 31:
Minister of State for Health and Population Mani Lama and Assistant Minister for Education and Sports Bhuvan Pathak today accused the seven political parties of promoting terrorism in the country by reaching an understanding with the Maoists.
The ministers were here to participate in the 13th council meeting of the Tanahu District Development Committee at Bidur.
Addressing the inaugural function, State Minister for Health and Population Mani Lama accused the seven-party alliance of promoting terrorism by reaching agreement with the Maoists after finding increasing support of people for the royal proclamation of February 1 last year.
Similarly, Assistant Minister for Education and Sports Bhuvan Pathak claimed that the seven-party alliance’s scheduled agitation from April 6 to 9 would fail for sure.
Zonal Administrator of the Gandaki zone, Dr Shekhar Gurung, Chief District Officer of Tanahu Shri Krishna Shrestha and mayor of the Bidur municipality Kaman Singh Lama also addressed the function.
On the occasion, District Development Committee chairman Sheshman Lama presented an estimated budget of Rs 122 million of the district for the next fiscal year.
