BHOJPUR: A minor has drowned in a canal in Sunsari district on Sunday.

Police said that Nitesh Sardar (4), son of Dinesh Sardar of Khanar, Itahari Sub-metropolitan City-14 of the district, fell into the canal while playing.

The minor was spotted unconscious by his neighbours and rushed him to the Nobel Hospital in Biratnagar, where he breathed last during treatment.
