DAMAULI: A minor died after being buried in a mud mound collapse in Ghansikuwa VDC-5 of Tanahun district on Thursday.

The deceased has been identified as nine-year-old Sandesh Bhujel of the same place.

Bhujel was taking a bath in a nearby well when the mound of mud slid and buried him.

He was critically injured in the incident and was rushed to the Damauli Hospital for treatment. He, however, breathed his last on the way.

According to police, the body has been handed over to his family after postmortem.
