PHIDIM: Two children who were supposedly missing were found by police in Chokmaghu, Phidim-7 of Panchthar, on Monday.

The children are identified as Kala Rai (10) of Lalikharka of Phidim-3 and Pawan Limbu (8) of neighbouring Taplejung district.

Police had found them roaming around the village before they were brought to Panchthar District Police Office.

Police, then, had issued a public notice calling parents to take responsibility of children.

The duo had been living together at Lal Bahadur Rai’s house in Phidim-3 before fleeing the house, said DSP Krishna Prasad Koirala.

Both of them have been handed to their maternal grandmother, living in Lalikharka, Phidim-3 on Thursday.
