BANEPA: A girl, who had gone missing since August1, was found dead at Panchkhal in Kavrepalanchok district on Friday morning.

The deceased has been identified as Sinjita BK (9), a fifth grader at the Bhabisya Ujjwal Primary School.

According to DSP Nabin Raj Rai of the District Police Office, Dhulikhel, BK's body was found in a jungle some 300 metres away from her house.

Further investigation into the incident is underway, Rai added.
