KATHMANDU: A minor's body has been found inside a septic tank in Mujiliya, Janakpur of Dhanusa district on Saturday.

Body the six-year-old Keshar Raut, son of local Shree Prasad Raut, was found in the septic tank of his home.

According to the District Police Office, Shree Prasad had lodged a complaint that his son had been missing from last Thursday.

During the subsequent interrogation with the family members, police had found that the septic tank had been plastered recently and suspected the foul play.

Then, police had broken the tank to find the body.

Meanwhile, police have arrested the father and the child's stepmother Rina Raut (27) for further investigation.
