SAPTARI: Expressing dissatisfaction over party Chairman Bijay Kumar Gachhadar's decision to join the new government led by KP Sharma Oli, Madhesi Janaadhikar Forum-Democratic (MJF-D) district leaders including party Central General Secretary Mrigendra Singh Yadav resigned on Sunday.

They announced at a press conference organised at Yadav's residence in Rajbiraj-6 this afternoon that they have already submitted their resignation letters.

During the press conference, Yadav said that the party Chairman had taken a wrong decision to take part in the government as the government has not addressed the demands of Madhesi parties yet.

He said that the party has betrayed the sentiments of Madhesi people and ongoing protests by joining the government.

Saptari District Committee Chairman Satya Narayan Yadav and Vice-Chairman Umesh Prasad Sah have also tendered their resignations.
