KATHMANDU: Madhesi Mukti Tigers (MMT) on Monday announced a stir from January 15 accusing the government of defying its demands.

Speaking with reporters in Inaruwa, the headquarters of Sunsari district, chairman of MMT Raman Kumar Singh accused the government of ignoring the Madhes issues in the name of dialogue.

It also informed that the government was not loyal in implementing the past agreements.

Referring to the recent declaration of the autonomous states by the Maoists, Singh said it was just a unilateral decision and it was not appropriate to address the multi-cultural and multi-ethnic nature of the society.
