A modern park will be established with an investment of five crore rupees at Ansanchautara of Byas Municipality, in Tanahun.

It is said that the design for construction of the modern park is in the final stage.

Geo Concern Pvt Ltd has been designing the park.

Information regarding the construction of the modern park was given at a programme organised in Byas Municipality today.

The design was changed after the people’s representatives demanded that an idol of Byas be established, spare land be kept inside the park, vehicles parking be manage at another place and also that a children’s park be established, among others.

The architect has estimated a cost at Rs five crore while the name of the park is yet to be finalised.

At the programme, Chief of Tanahun District Coordination Committee Shantiram Wagle said quality has to be kept in the mind rather than money while constructing the park.

Mayor of the municipality Baikuntha Neupane said detailed study had to be carried out soon for the park construction.
