Morang village reeling under drinking water crisis

MORANG: Residents of Jante VDC in Morang district have been deprived of drinking water for the past few days after drinking water pipes were swept away by the flooded Teli Rivulet.

According to Dilli Biswokarma, Chairman of the Jante Drinking Water and Sanitation Users Committee, as many as 1,200 households at Jante ward no 1, 2, 8 and 9 have been reeling under drinking water crisis.

Water crisis is looming large in Jante after the drinking water pipes installed from the Teli Rivulet were swept away, he added.
