Mortal remains of 7 Myagdi crash victims yet to be identified
POKHARA: Mortal remains of seven victims of fatal Myagdi plane crash on Wednesday are yet to be identified.
The Kaski District Police Office said so far bodies of only 16 among 23 victims have been identified.
By Thursday evening, 14 bodies had been identified while two more were recognised today.
Meanwhile, nine bodies including the seven unidentified and two identified today were sent to Kathmandu.
Mortal remains of Chinese national Mak Siu Ying and Nepali citizens Dil Kumari Gauchan, Devi Jang Gurung, Phenjong Gurung, Laxmi Hirachan, Lepsang Lama and Kanchha Pariyar are not identified yet. Police said the bodies have been sent to Kathmandu for DNA tests.
Likewise, Kuwaiti national Ralrashed Ahamed and a Nepal Army man Raj Kumar Tamang's bodies were also sent to the Kathmandu today.
