BHOJPUR: A child was injured when a motorcycle hit him in Dandagaun of Bhojpur Bazaar, district headquarters of Bhojpur district.

The District Police Office, Bhojpur, has identified the child as the six-year-old Prajwal Tamang. Tamang was studying in the nursery class at the Siddhakali Boarding School.

Police said that Tamang was rushed to Sidhhakali Hospital after he was critically injured when the motorcycle (Ko 21 Pa 6006) had hit him.

The motorcyclist was arrested and the two-wheeler impounded, said police. They added that the motorcyclist did not have a license.
