PALPA: A person died after the motorcycle he was riding on fell below the road at Bahundanda of Ribdikot Municipality-4 in Palpa district on Tuesday.

The deceased has been identified as 25-year-old Mehboob Ali of Asan Tole in Tansen Municipality-2 in the district.

According to Harthok-based Police Post, the incident occurred when Ali who was riding the motocycle ( Lu 22 Pa 8553) in highspeed, lost control and fell about 100 metres below the road yesterday evening. He was en route from Harthok of Ribdikot Rural Municipality to Tansen, police added.

He was pronounced dead on the spot, informed police.

Meanwhile, the investigation into the case is underway, said police.
