CHITWAN: A motorcyclist died when a motorcycle rammed into a truck at Dadhuwa along the East-West Highway in eastern Chitwan on Sunday.

The District Police Office has identified the motorcyclist as Rajendra Sunuwar (35) of Benighat-7 in Dhading district.

Police informed that Sunuwar was travelling to Naryangadh when his motorcycle (Na 18 Pa 4691) hit the parked truck (Na 5 Kha 5839) from the front at around 6 this morning.

He was severely injured in the incident and was being taken to the hospital for treatment. However, he died on the way there.

An unidentified man, who was riding pillion, was also injured in the incident.

He is receiving treatment at the Chitwan Medial College, police said.
