DAMAULI: A motorcyclist was seriously injured after being hit by a car at Jamune in Tanahun district on Monday.

The two-wheeler (Ga 5 Pa 9550) heading to Pokhara of Kaski from Damauli of Tanahun district had collided with the car (Ba 14 Pa 6155) coming from opposite direction.

The injured biker has been identified as Padam Baniya (49) of Pokhara Sub-Metropolitan City-18.

He sustained deep wounds on head and eyes and is undergoing treatment at the Pokhara-based Manipal Teaching Hospital, added police.

Police said they have impounded the vehicle and rounded the driver for further investigation.
