BUTWAL: Police have arrested a murder accused after 20 years of the incident in in Tilottama Municipality of Rupandehi district.

The accused has been identified as Man Bahadur Tharu of the then Gangoliya VDC-8 in Rupandehi district.

According to the Area Police Office, Butwal, Tharu, who had arrived at his home to observe Bada Dashain, was nabbed on Wednesday.

Tharu was absconding after killing Rudal Yadav of the same VDC on November 16, 1997, police said.
