Kathmandu, November 27:

A discussion on Concept of Mutual Fund in the Development of Capital Market in Nepal concluded at the Ministry of Finance today under the chairmanship of Finance Minister Madhukar Shumsher JB Rana. At the discussion held as part of the policy to holding regular interactions on various contemporary topics related to finance, Chief Resource Person and Administrative Officer of Punjab Property Management Company Limited Sanjaya Sachdeva presented a working paper. Discussions were held on the collection of capital from small-scale investors and the possibilities of its utilisation. Participating in the discussion were vice-chairman of National Planning Commission Dr Shankar Sharma, Assistant Minister for Finance Dr Rup Jyoti, Member of NPC Dr Champak Pokharel, Nepal Rastra Bank Governer Bijaynath Bhattarai among others.
