My commitments are not jokes: PM Oli

KATHMANDU: Prime Minister K P Sharma Oli on Monday said his commitments to end load-shedding in a year and to provide cooking gas through pipelines instead of cylinders were not a joke to laugh at and he would keep his commitment at all cost.

Addressing the 30th General Assembly of Nepal Academy, Oli said he was criticised for his commitment to generate electricity from wind power, but he has been telling people about his priorities at public forums also to prepare the mentality of the government mechanism for implementation.

He also said separatist forces were plotting to split the country, but such plots wouldn’t be tolerated.
