10 hurt in mishap

CHITWAN: Ten passengers were injured when a bus and a truck collided at Bhandara in Chitwan on Saturday. Among the injured, two are in critical condition, the police said. The injured are undergoing treatment in Chitwan Medical College.

Relief for fire victims

MANGALBARE: The Bhawani Dal Battalion, Ilam, has donated Rs 82,250 to fire victims of the district. They deposited the amount in the Fire Victims’ Relief Fund of the DDC. All members of the battalion had made contributions, said Battalion Commander Arunjung Thapa.

Donation for martyr

SALYAN: Constituent Assembly member of the CPN-UML, Dhirendra Bahadur Shrestha, has donated Rs 50,000 for the establishment of an award in the name of a martyr. He handed over the amount to the Hem-Lok Memorial Foundation at a programme organised in Khalanga on the occasion of the 12th memorial day of martyr Hem Raj KC.
