NRA plans to establish reconstruction technical unit in local level

DHADING: The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of National Reconstruction Authority (NRA) Sushil Gyewali has said that the NRA is preparing to establish a reconstruction technical unit in the local government to facilitate the remaining tasks of reconstruction.

He said so at an interaction programme organised by district project implementation unit on ‘Challenges in Private Building Reconstruction’.

In the programme, CEO Gyawali said that those receiving dual facilities in the name of quake-hit families and others preparing fake documents for enjoying subsidy would be punished after taking their details from the local government.

He asserted that the local governments were asked to forward the details of such individuals and publicly announce their names too.

Present on the occasion were engineers deployed from the NRA in 13 local levels.
