KATHMANDU, MAY 21

Main opposition party, Nepali Congress has called an all party meeting on Friday.

The meeting will be convened at NC Presidence Sher Bahadur Deuba's residence in Budhanilkantha at around noon.

Senior figures of the NC, CPN- Maoist Centre, Nepal-Khanal faction of the ruling CPN-UML and Yadav-Bhattarai faction of the Janata Samajbadi Party- Nepal, among others will attend the meeting, it has been learnt.

Meanwhile, Maoist Centre chair Pushpa Kamal Dahal has reached Deuba's residence to discuss the recent political developments triggered by President's call for formation of a new government's on Thursday.

Likewise, UML's Madhav Nepal too has reached Deuba residence.

The all-party meet in all likelihood will discuss possibilities of ousting Oli and forming a coalition government.

Leaders of Thakur-Mahato faction of the JSP-N have expedited meetings with PM Oli and it is expected that Oli will try to form a coalition government in alliance with the group of JSP-N leaders that have been backing him up of late.
