PARSA: Nepali Congress joint general secretary Prakash Sharan Mahat has spoken of the need to foster an environment with supremacy of law and security of investment in order to attract foreign direct investment in the country.

He stated this while speaking at a press conference organised by Nepal Press Union, Parsa Chapter in Birgunj today. The NC joint general secretary stressed on the importance of rule of law.

Leader Mahat also stated that federalism would become successful and the constitution fully implemented if all three tiers of government would function within their jurisdiction.

On the other hand, he accused the "regional parties" of bartering the aspirations of Madhesi people with power, as he reasoned that these parties have formed coalition with parties that do not want to address the demands of Madhesi people.
