NCP (NCP) offers condolence on demise of Province-5 PA member

RUPANDEHI: Nepal Communist Party (NCP) has issued a letter of condolence on the demise of the party leader and Province Assembly member of Province 5, Uttar Kumar Oli, today.

Oli was elected PA member from Dang Constituency No. 3 of Province 5.

The letter of condolence has expressed sympathy towards the family members of leader Oli who breathed his last at Medicity Hospital in Lalitpur, at 1:00 am, today.

Oli had been undergoing treatment at the hospital after he was injured in a road accident at Chisapani in Ghorahi Sub-Metropolis-3, on February 8. Leader Oli was heading towards Dang from Butwal when the incident occurred.

His body is now kept at the NCP (NCP) party office in Kathmandu and preparation is on to airlift him to Dang this afternoon, informed NCP province office secretary Balaram Adhikari.

He was the party's candidate from Dang Constituency No. 5 for second Constituency Assembly (CA) Polls in 2013/14.

He is survived by his spouse and two sons.
